What Is Lipo 360?
To slim the lower torso from the front, sides and back, you need to remove fat from more than one spot. Lipo 360 is simply liposuction performed 360 degrees around the abdomen, waist, hips and lower back. The same techniques are used to constrict blood vessels and liquify the fat stores as traditional liposuction, but the contouring procedure is extended to a larger area.
During the 360 degree liposuction procedure, small incisions are made to access different areas. The loosened fat is suctioned through cannulas and special techniques are used to contour and reshape the torso. The goal is to achieve a firmer, smaller midsection that looks balanced and natural once it heals.
The recovery after Lipo 360 is similar to most other liposuction contouring procedures. Patients should expect to rest for at least two days after their surgery, but most people are able to return to work within a week. The small incisions heal nicely and are almost invisible once the recovery is complete. Patients will need to wear a compression garment to help the skin conform to the new slimmer midsection area after their procedure.
