Teen rhinoplasty can be performed once the nose is fully developed. This can be as early as 15-16 years of age for females but may be 16-17 for male teens. Like any nose reshaping surgery, it can be performed with either open or closed surgical methods, depending on what features are reshaped. The procedure can take a few hours to perform, but teens can return home after their surgery. The recovery time is usually less than 10 days, when the swelling and bruising will be mostly dissipated.
